Risk of Persistence and Progression of Use of 5 Cannabis Products After Experimentation Among Adolescents

This study followed 2685 adolescents with no history of heavy cannabis use. This study shows that with persistent use, cannabis was used in increasing concentrate amounts and frequency. The findings suggest that cannabis concentrate “should be targeted in prevention campaigns to reduce the rates of progression to heavy cannabis use in adolescent populations.”
